Vision:

My Sister’s Stori is important because many individuals battle mental illness and are unsure of how to live through the battles they face because of their illness. Many turn to unhealthy coping strategies to include substance use, isolation, suicide, and self-harm to name a few. My Sister’s Stori provides hope and ensures individuals that a healthier reality isobtainable via the utilization of coping skills and support! Mental health is not a death sentence!One can lead a profound and fulfilling life if they encompass the tools necessary to manage their diagnosis- My Sister’s Stori will provide them with those essential tools.

Mission:

My Sister’s Stori is a nonprofit organization dedicated to working as a preventative initiative to prevent adolescents from turning to drug use and suicide. This organization will work to equip adolescentswith coping mechanisms, support for their families and resources to aide them to better understand their diagnosis in hopes of leading productive lives.

Goals:

to provide resources that draw attention to the current drug pandemic. To provide visibility to mental health awareness.

To Engage -

to show the community that all is not lost, change is possible.

To Emerge Action -

to engage the community in workshops, events, and educational engagements. As well as to assist in prevention of substance dependent behaviors and suicide.
